For those players who are not familiar with sailing or yacht racing in real life, these resources are provided for your information. Quite a few players on OtherSpace have a great deal of experience with sailing in real life -- if you can't find your answer on one of these sites, please ask on the Sailing channel on OtherSpace.

Keep in mind that some of these resources are for sailing and not yacht racing in the style of the America's Cup -- so if you hear the word "spinnaker" and you don't know what it means, you'll know why.
