Occasion: This is the standard duty uniform for all
officers holding a rank of Rear Admiral or above.
Cover: A black cocked hat with a white plume and
white cockade fastened to the hat by a gold button and trimmed
with gold lace.
Sword: RNS Officer Swords may be worn with this uniform.
Description: A navy blue frock coat over a light-grey
waistcoat and a white shirt with black cravat. The frock
coat bears twin gold epaulets, with one star for rear admirals,
two for vice admirals, and three for full admirals. The facings
on the jacket are navy blue with gold lace. The cuffs of
the frockcoat are gold with
gold
buttons.
A blue sash is worn over the coat. The coat is accompanied
by black knee breeches and shoes. Shoebuckles are optional.
White breeches are optional in summer.
