Flag of the Kingdom of Sivad
The rank flag of the Admiral of the Fleet, as well as the symbol of the Kingdom of Sivad, commonly flown at government establishments. The Royal Standard is the same, save it has the royal cypher in place of the Sivadian Arms over the cross.
Royal Navy Ensign
The Royal Navy Ensign is flown by all ships in commission, as well as at RNS shore establishments. The Rescue Service Ensign is the same, but has a red, rather than orange, cross.
Rank Flags
Flown on the ship or at the base of a flag officer, all rank flags are of a common design, save that of the Admiral of the Fleet, who flies the Sivadian Ensign. The flag of an admiral is an orange cross on a white background, that of a vice admiral the same, but with a starburst in the canton, and that of a rear admiral the same as the previous two, but with two starbursts. In all cases, the flags of the Royal Naval Rescue Service are the same, but replace the orange with red. The rank flag is flown in place of the Ship's Commissioning Pennant.
Commodore Pennant
Commodores do not have a rank flag per se, but fly a broad pennant in place of the ship's commissioning pennant. The pennant is twice as wide as the standard commissioning pennant, and has a notable swallowtail. |
